A wonderful Veteran Session!

I had a great head shot session with lovely Gentleman and what a pleasure it was!

It has been awhile since my last blog...

This fall and Winter has been busy in both my professional and my personal life. But I am back at full steam and photographing KSS and Ballenas Graduates in the Qualicum studio for the next week.

I am currently in the process of moving my studio and it will be one to two months before I settle in to a new space. Until then I am working with my portable studio set in the clubhouse on Meredith and in client homes. I will update once I have the new address. I am currently booking for mornings and weekends for the next month. Call 250-760-7003 to book.

This is the fourth time I have worked with her and she is an amazing model and client. I am definitely looking forward to our next commission!

A Family Session at Hatley Castle.

I had the pleasure of photographing Kirsten and Jason five years ago for their beautiful wedding at Hatley Castle. The wedding day was flawless and so romantic. Kirsten called me last month and said she would like to have their family portraits taken near the ceremony site and in the Rose Garden.
This was our result!

An amazing session in the dark with Anna Atkinson!

Anna is a local classical singer here in Nanaimo and I have had the pleasure of photographing her on three separate occasions. This session is for her upcoming Christmas concert promotion. I love working with this woman! What a blast and so much creativity!!!

Artistic Intimate session with a Cosplay Touch!

I had an amazing session with this adorable woman! She wanted to do something special for her Honey and what happened was so great! I am only posting a couple of images as some were meant to be private, but let me tell you I have never seen a sexier Darth Vader! LOL.

The outfits I am showing here are her amazing R2D2 dress (LOVE IT!) and her Rouge outfit. We had such a blast and I was very happy with the results!

We photographed most of the session in the studio but for Rouge, she really needed to be outside. We drove down to Colliery Dam (One of my favorite little locations in the heart of Nanaimo). We hiked all over the bloody place looking for a private spot and as soon as we started shooting, Someone came by walking their dog! I am so glad that Tiana is very confident and just laughed it off. What a great sport! I think the outdoor ones were my favorite and here are a couple that I thought were fabulous!
